I love Turbo Tax. Have used it for years. Once tried another program and went back to Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Very easy to work with

Great Process!

Turbo Tax recommended using the standard deduction. While this resulted in a higher Federal refund it resulted in a payment to the State of Maryland. I switched to using itemized deductions and Federal refund went down but State return resulted in a $303 refund resulting in an overall net gain.
What's great about it: Easy and straight forward - covered everything
What's not so great: recommended standard deduction - itemized worked better

This is the 15th time we have used TurboTax and we will continue to do so unless they somehow change the manner in which the program works...
We love the "lots of questions" format.
One year we made a mistake and needed to file an amended return. We were concerned about the results we were getting with the program. A truly patient man on the help line walked us through the procedure including entering all the data and some "test" data that made it all make sense. Done in a half hour.
Now that is customer service.... we are customers for life.

Too many bugs

Had issues opening Turbo Tax, used it for years and this was the worst experience. Said I needed administrator rights to open and I am the administrator. After fixing settings in Avast finally able to open.
Also, would not accept e-file when finished. Kept getting error message 601 ERRV:4 Order Placement HDR_12-210:SZo13 US 1040PER ,invalid product item Alias. Checked support and followed instructions without success.
After updating 2012 Turbo Tax it finally took the e-file literally after the tenth try. Very frustrating experience. Not sure if I will use it again.

Soooo... Easy

Guided tour, step-by-step process was really easy. My TurboTax info from last year was lost (hard drive crash), so I dreaded entering all my personal info again. But, it was super easy, and I completed much quicker than I expected.
Lesson learned? Don't save JUST the PDF file to another media for your records, but save the actual Turbo Tax file as well!!!
