Awesome Refund!

Great software and excellent end result on refund.
What's great about it: Fast & Easy to follow and get my return submitted to IRS
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TurboTax makes filing a breeze!

Overall, TurboTax is a solid program. It catches any possible deductions I could have, and it usually imports my last year's taxes with no issues (that makes filing each year so much easier!), but this year it missed something. I may have pulled from an uncompleted file on my thumbdrive, but it made things a little harder. If TT pulls in the last year's info completely and accurately, then it makes filing for the current year so much easier... and you get a tax situation comparison at the end. I will continue being a loyal TT user (going on 5 years now) as long as they keep providing top-notch software/service.
What's great about it: Walks me through everything clearly; I never miss any deductions
What's not so great: This year it kind of missed some of my imported information from last year

Show me the money!

TurboTax is awesome; it takes all of the guess-work out of the equation. The most difficult and time consuming piece is organizing all of your receipts; TT takes care of all the rest.
What's great about it: Fast, easy and accurate!

I've used TurboTax for several years. It guides you step by step and helps you maximize your return. I will continue to use it.

Overall great - but has some issues (TT Deluxe)

Bad
- needs to be able to read 32 and 64 bit TT source files. If you need to upgrade OS midstream you are screwed.
- seems to have problem getting my previous year state tax refund amount for income section. It always seems to get this wrong
- need to be able to buy small increments of federal filings after the 1st 5 are used up.
- I do my kids and grand kids, which requires 2 states. This year it was cheaper to just buy two Deluxe packages, to get 2 states and 10 filings. But then it gets real messy to manage this. Please let me merge the two licenses into one physical version.

The ability to load your previous tax year is huge.
Your time spent is less and more accurate since it pulls from your tax year docs if you filed via Turbo Tax. You indicate what has changed and it is updated, awesome and easy.

I have been using TurboTax for at least 7 years and every year I feel like I've really gotten all I could get (or paid the least I had to pay). Thanks.

TurboTax is Supercharged!

This is an excellent product. I have been using TurboTax since the late 90s. Anyone can use it. My students doing their taxes talk about how easy it is to use.
What's great about it: It checks all of the different tax forms so I don't have to!
