excellent tax software

I've used this tax software for the past few years and found it very easy to use. I've had no problems completing a return, and I usually get my refund within two weeks of submitting the return to the state and federal government.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: State filing fee should be free

I have tried others, but Turbo Tax gets the job done.
What's great about it: Thorough
What's not so great: After you buy you must pay more for processing

Done in 2 hours!

This is fast and easy to use. The only reason it took 2 hours was the Adobe version had an issue when I had to download my W2. NOT any part of TurboTax. I also had to add a new employer into the system. Otherwise 1 hour would have been the case. This version was the fastest walk through yet. I am a slow reader so it took a little bit of time.
What's great about it: Easy because I use this year after year after year
What's not so great: No known issues

Easily Done

You can't really go wrong with Turbo Tax. I've used it for the past 7 years and never had a problem. I've compared my refunds with a friend (of similar wages and status) who gets his done professionally, and I always receive the same or more in my refund.
What's great about it: It asks all possible questions for the most deductions. Quick and easy.
What's not so great: None, really.

Supersized My Savings!

For many years, I paid an accountant to do my taxes...the accounting classes I took in college were hard enough, so the thought of doing my own taxes was terrifying! About five years ago, my boss told me he used TurboTax to do his taxes, and that it was super easy, and they looked for every way to maximize your refund. I tried it out, and could NOT have been happier! Not scary at all, and in fact, I look forward to doing my taxes every year now! It is really neat seeing the live time refund tracker at the top of the screen changing with the little things you are inputting. Thanks for all your help TurboTax! Even though I'm a tax amateur, I feel like a tax pro now! I recommend using TurboTax to anyone who asks me.
What's great about it: Easy step by step approach to each category
What's not so great: All the money I wasted on CPA's doing my taxes in previous years
