Surprise, surprise, surprise

Because of the CON that was in the program, I had to re-do the business section 4 or 5 time in federal section. You did have something in the PA state program to delete the business which I no longer have. I stopped it.
What's great about it: Most everything worked out well
What's not so great: No opportunity to eliminate a business that I had the year before.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Turbo tax covers all items professionals covers. It's amazing how easy it is. If you are unsure, there are tips and explanations along the way. It allows you to save if you are unsure. Information transfers easily from year-to-year.

I have used Turbo Tax for years and every year it get easier and faster to file. I will never use a different tax filing product or pay someone to do my taxes ever again. AWESOME!

Can't handle it if you stop rentals

For a couple of years I rented out part of my house. I didn't do that in 2012. So I don't need the Premier version. However, it insists that I am still renting it out. It flags an error, that I have entered 0 days renting, and I can't use schedule E unless I have at least 15 days renting. There's no way to get rid of it. I deleted schedule E, but it still flagged the error. I filed with the error anyway, as it's impossible to get rid of it.
I hope it gets better next year.
What's great about it: very good for nearly all of it

The software has gotten very intuitive. Most questions are answered in the window your in. And extra help is right where you need it!
