Watch that W-2 Import!

The W-2 import appeared to work until balances in the tax return were doubled. The first W-2 was fine. The second of two W-2 had duplicated balances from item #11 through #20 of W-2 number 1. I don't know how that happened. But the second W-2 also checked itself to be exempt from state tax. Both problems were found fairly quickly and could have been avoided if I had examined all of the detail in each W-2 after import.
What's great about it: Ease of use and import of previous years info.
What's not so great: The W-2 import created a problem

Have used TurboTax in the past. Find your instuctions are simple and easy to follow. Also, allows for "taking a break" and returning very easy.
I find TurboTax keeps me very focused on the moment. Eliminates making errors.
What's great about it: Easy step by step data entry. Made process very simple!

Mostly good

Have used Turbo Tax for many years. It is easy to follow usually. Very convenient to transfer returns from previous years. I've done my grandchildren's taxes for many years along with my own. Some of them have started using Turbo Tax on their own after watching me do theirs. It's a great program.
What's great about it: Relatively easy to follow
What's not so great: Script error continually comes up. Could not get thru to get help
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Easy to understand software, complete both Fed and State returns in under 2 hours, start to finish. Took the electronic filing method for both, getting small refunds from both

Have used Turbo tax system for years, trust it completely..whole family now uses it

I have been using TurboTax for at least 10 years, maybe more. I was horrible doing taxes, the step by step process makes it easier to follow and get the right information put in the right places.
What's great about it: Easy
What's not so great: Have had problem w/ ammending

Great product. Will continue to use. How about a return user discount for product download instead of purchase at retail store?
