Smooth

As always it was very easy to enter all our information and the program walked us through everything we needed. We got a little confused about entering mortgage interest on our second home. Previous versions of TurboTax have asked if we have a second home then gathered the info. This version simply had us add a second mortgage company. We had to look up the rules to determine if our second home interest was still deductible. With all the tax changes this year we wanted to be sure the rules hadn't changed. It would have been better if TurboTax had asked specifically about second homes.
What's great about it: Walked through everything
What's not so great: Second Home interest a little confusing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Printing my state return

Documentation says I have the file to print to mail but it is not anywhere to be found...just a copy that has "Do Not File" and other shaded wording all over it stating not to file.
What's great about it: Filed my Fed Return quickly
What's not so great: Will not let me print my State Return for mailing!

Great, gets better to file every year

At end of filing, I found it confusing to move along when trying get through portion about Affordable Care Act. You need to review it and make it easier to understand for people. I had to go back to previous pages a few times to be sure what I was doing even though I have good medical coverage and don't need the Affordable Care Act coverage.
What's great about it: Simple & Easy

Have used this tax program for about 5 years and best in my opinion on the market. User friendly. Asks the proper questions.

Very Helpfull

This was the first time I've ever done my own taxes so I was a little nervous. But using Turbo Tax it went really smooth. It tells you where all the information is and explains everything it has you do. The only downside is the program was created very early in the tax season so an update has to be done in order to have all the forms. I had some problems getting the update to load at first. If I could change one thing about how the program is put together I would move the "update" feature to right when you load the programs.
What's great about it: Walked me thru everything
What's not so great: Help site had a lot of useless information
