Very disappointed this year--could not print a copy of my state form to mail!! It kept printing DO NOT FILE over top of each state form!! I've been using Turbo Tax for years and this is the first bad experience!
What's great about it: Everything goes easier with last years info added automatically
What's not so great: Hard to print official state copy!

This is a great product, but this year's version dropped one source of pension when it imported info from last year's return. Also, a quirk with the Alabama state return: I always have to go in and manually remove Federal pensions from Part I, line 5a. AL instructions specifically state not to report any pensions that are exempt from state tax on this line, and every year it puts it there. Must be manually removed. Please fix this.

What's not so great: Dropped one pension from last year, state return problems again

the basic form was routine and very clear. my major issue was the fact that we received a Form 1099-A as a consequence of foreclosure on our primary residence as a result of a Chapter 7 bankruptcy. we were not clear on how to handle this Form. the information provided gave good guidance (i.e. that this 1099-A was more for information than for action) but I am not completely confident that I am out of the woods. It would not surprise me if the IRS does question this.
What's great about it: moved right along from one section to another; gave the user confidence that the return was being filled out in a proper
What's not so great: didi not provide enough information concerning foreclosure in a bankruptcy situation ;
