Easy Does It

Very well constructive software. My family has trusted the accuracy of TurboTax for ten years now.
What's great about it: very easy to use, interface with previous year tax return, federal e-file free
What's not so great: not intuitive how to file state return via snail mail.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used this tax service year after year. The improvements each year are right on. I suggest over and over the use to other family members and friends.

What's great about it: The easy screens and guided if needed. I have used Turbo Tax for over ten years and it is getting better and better .
What's not so great: Do not like audit support

Working with Turbo Tax is easy and very simple to understand . they walk you through all the areas nothing is missed. I wish I had used them earlier I would of gotten a bigger refund.

Nice n' Easy

I have used TurboTax many times in the past and overall I like the software. However, sometimes it seems like there are so many steps involved in the process. I am sure this is necessary but it can be time consuming.
What's great about it: Process was quite simple
What's not so great: Too many steps in some cases
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Doesn't work well for SS marriage on state

Followed instructions exactly as was instructed by Turbotax and it would not allow me to get into the state section. Kept saying I had to do everything that I had just done by their instructions.
What's great about it: Easy to enter information
What's not so great: Won't do what it says it will

2013 Turbo Tax +/-

Up until I this year I would of given Turbotax high marks. The link that was supposed to tell me why I couldn't e-file my return till Feb 7 just brought me to many user questions which I had to search thru to find out the reason. This was time consuming and frustrating. Why couldn't turbo tax automatically pull up the answer and supply it directly????
What's great about it: Easy to use, Accurate
What's not so great: answer exchange is painful

This was my first time doing my Taxes from start to finish by myself, with no help from my accountant friends. This program made making the plunge very easy! With easy to follow instructions and questions, I am only regretting not doing this sooner! Thank you for making me feel like a grown up TurboTax!

What's not so great: Time consuming, but that's not a TurboTax issue.
