My Pension is not taxable under Alabama Law. I could not get your program to recognize that. You had me owing the State 1700+ dollars. It should have been Zero. I had to prepare my State Return by hand and mail it in.
If you have an answer for that I'd like to hear it.

It was surprisingly easy..

It was easy, and figured most of the math out!
What's great about it: Simple language, and easy data entry
What's not so great: E-file tripped up a bit but went through after the third attempt

Total waste of time and money. Took over 4 hours. Couldn't ever find out how to enter the sales tax purchase of my new car. Will never buy/use or recommend again!!!!
What's great about it: None
What's not so great: To many to list!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

There were confusing pages in 2013 version of TurboTax. We have used TurboTax for years and found this one asking some questions that were difficult to understand the question, even after clicking "Learn More". Otherwise it was great and we did get it all figured out and done. Thank you TurboTax. We really do appreciate your putting your program out there for us folks.
What's great about it: User friendly in almost all cases
What's not so great: 2013 versus 2012. 2012 was more user friendly

I have been using TurboTax since 1996. I won't prepare my taxes any other way.

I've used Turbo Tax for years. If you are doing your taxes on the same computer as last year it's dead simple!
What's great about it: So simple a cavemen could do it!

Turbotax is a welcome to filing by longhannd which I did for years. I've been usiing turbotax for the ast 4 years.
What's great about it: Good guidance thru the red tape of the goveernment, glad your'e doing it and not me.
What's not so great: Didn't fine any cons.
