Need to make it easier to use 1099-R. All the emphasis is on W-2 and 1099s used for investment returns. Also, SSA 1099s are not even listed.
What's great about it: Quick & precise
What's not so great: Need to put emphesis on ability to go back and change things

Love TurboTax!

TurboTax walked me through my husband's foreign earned income when no other tax preparers could. I even called the IRS for help and they couldn't answer my questions. I bought TurboTax out of desperation and it walked me right through the whole process. Thanks TurboTax!
What's great about it: Easy to use; walks you through every step; quick and easy.
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo is an understatement

We use this software yearly and cannot be strayed away by any company's claims to get us more money back. In Turbo Tax We Trust!
What's great about it: Quick and super easy
What's not so great: State Taxes still cost to efile
Pros: I bought or sold investments

My TurboTax Experience

TurboTax is easy to use and the guides are well done.
My complaints are few:
1. Saving and resuming your return does not take you back to where you left off, but to the beginning of the sections. This can cause you to think you have to redo that section. There may be a way to skip ahead, but I did not find it. Data does not have to be re-entered, but I had to step through each entry.
2. My Return failed to e-file the first time because an update was available and required. After updating Turbo Tax there was no problem and the e-filing went smoothly.
3. Getting the required PIN could be better done. When I went to the link, it was a blank page. When I used the 2012 Gross income, my previous PIN was revealed. I had this number but didn't know that I could use. These instructions could be improved.
4)The "Nickname" requirement for this review is a big nuisance and a very irritating requirement. Who cares?

Very easy, completed an itemized return in less than an hour.

Fed vs State review

Since it is a joint return, why are questions on the state filing based on an individual's name?
I had to enter the amount for the second person (my wife#, even though the amount was the same #joint filing!?!?!?!!!!!!).
