Easy breezy TurboTax

I used TurboTax for two years now and wish I'd discovered it many years ago. TurboTax is the ONLY good thing about taxes!
What's great about it: TurboTax took all the guess work out filing our returns

easy to install. I am not a computer person at all. This was a very easy program.
What's great about it: quick way to receive the news
What's not so great: program can be pricey

TURBO TAX DELUXE

I like you can choose to go through everything or pick out what you want. Is easy to follow. Was disappointed no phone number for question was easily found. You have to wade through a lot of stuff to find it.
What's great about it: COVERS EVERYTHING, EASY TO USE
What's not so great: NO CONTACT NUMBER FOR QUESTION

Getting things down on file, processing them, and getting them to the IRS without undue stress is good. Voila.
What's great about it: Simple, concise, thorough and stress reducing.

Turbo Tax will always be the standard for do it yourself tax preparers. They are fairly easy to understand and really work to get you to think about all the possible refunds you have coming.
What I didn't care for was that last minute $30 fee for "processing my refund!" I should have been able to deduct that as part of my tax refund as well.
What's great about it: Fairly easy to understand, quick to update
What's not so great: No information related to the Independent Foreclosure Review Payment, Additional fees for processing refund

Do It Yourself Professional

Great software for the "Do It Yourself" non tax pro. It'll make you feel like you are a professional tax preparer. I have been using this software from its beginning and it has gotten better and better every year. I tell my friends, I can charge you to do your taxes or you can just buy Turbo Tax and do it yourself.
What's great about it: Like Tony the Tiger says "It's Greaaaaat"
What's not so great: State E-Filing should be free by adding to the price of software

There has bee several years that turbo has done the state taxes wrong i have had to spend 2 or 3 extra hours to see if it worked correctly or not. this isone of thsoe years
