Easy and simple

I have used this product for many years, almost since its first development and have always felt confident about using it. I believe I get the best tax situation for our family. I have encouraged friends and family to try it and most continue to use Turbo Tax. It keeps getting better.
What's great about it: The order of process is very intuitive and well explained
What's not so great: None I could identify

Overall Good Tax Prep Software

As usual was very good overall on major tax forms and topics.
However, when it comes to changes such as removing a vehicle from work use was terrible. At the very end the program checks for errors and it was not until then a Like Kind Exchange form was brought up. Instead of taking me back to completely fill out the form the program did it through numerous returns to error check and then going back to enter another figure. Confusing and time-consuming, a terrible way to do this!

Used Turbo Tax past three years and it is wonderful the way it retrieves and compares with previous years.
EASY to use with simple common English sentences. If questions there is always help links right on the current working screen.

Takes time, but if you keep decent records it really helps nail your taxes (and refunds.)
What's great about it: Like Step-by-step procedure. Make sure I don't miss anything.

I've used Turbo Tax to prepare my tax returns for 4 years. Turbo Tax program makes it easy to prepare your taxes. Turbo Tax walks you step by step though the itemized process. It's simple! E-filing is a breeze. Thanks Turbo Tax.

My first Turbo Tax

I was reluctant to try Turbo Tax because I've always used my CPA. However, his charges have, these past few years, seemed out-of-proportion to my tax situation. I decided to purchase Turbo Tax just to preview my 2013 tax situation...however, after stepping my way through the program I gained 100% confidence that this was a thorough and accurate preparation of my 2013 return.
My only negative comment was one that threw me at first: Turbo Tax should, in my opinion, ask on page one if the filer's sole income was earned or from retirement. That was the only confusion I had because I began by filling out the earned income portion before I later saw there was a place for 1099 income.
Thank you Turbo Tax for a well-thought-out product that inspires confidence where needed.
What's great about it: Clear, easy-to-read step-by-step instructions. Every opportunity to edit and correct entries.
What's not so great: TT should ask up front if main source of income was from Retirement Dist and SS
