Easy but could be easier

Unless I missed the option to just take the standard deduction, I think it was unnecessary to answer all the deduction areas when I knew that is what I would be using.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax does all the work

Too Expensive

The software helps prepare the taxes, but the cost is going up all the time and every year you can do more e-filing and tax preparation online for free.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Way too expensive for services that can be done elsewhere online for free

Easy Peasy

Let's start with what I didn't like: the donations menu can be oddly specific and oddly lacking. It's workable, but it could be more consistent in its findings.
Apart from that, this software is a blessing. Getting through taxes should be a headache, but as long as I have my receipts in order, it's easy thanks to Turbo. It gets me better refunds effortlessly, explains itself clearly, and makes returns simple year after year.
What's great about it: Simple, Fast, Trustworthy
What's not so great: Menus are inconsistent

I love the software. You could make it easier by making the categories flow better instead of switching back and forth. Also my w-2's never autofill and my returns are never found even though I save them every year.

SS Disability Started

I went on Social Security Disability this year and with the lump sum payment from prior years, I was concerned about my tax liability. TurboTax asked all the right questions and made my return a non-event. I recommend Turbo Tax to everyone!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
