Good Like Always

Good this year except for the CON entry above. TTax did not have this problem in previous years. It needs to be fixed for next year.
What's great about it: Quite easy to enter data
What's not so great: Treated pension info as if it were IRA distribution $. Insisted on asking about MRD when it did not apply.

Doing it right

This is for my deceased mother. There was an error and was rejected by IRS. I had to go back and forth to find my error. This error should have been found before submitting to IRS. A simple mistake on my part but after looking for it, I found the mistake.
What's not so great: Error in info, had to navigate back and forth to find the problem

Turbo Tax makes cents

I did not get a refund but have to pay a large tax. I thought I would not lose the child tax credit until next year. With Triplets age 17 I have a lot of college prep and other bills to deal with right now. I was not prepared for this large tax this year. I wish last years turbo tax would have given me a warning I could not miss. I either did not get a warning or I did not pay attention.
What's great about it: Anybody can do it
What's not so great: I got blidesided this year with triplets and loosing the child tax credit

Over all Turbotax makes it painless to file your taxs. I have used this product for the last 3 years and love it. I keep coming back. That should say it all. GREAT JOB TURBOTAX!!!!!

Content with Refund!

We received several tax credits, but I was uncertain as to whether those credits generated a refund. Was unable to find information on what to do when you sell property.
What's great about it: Feel we maximized our refund
What's not so great: More explanations needed

Turbo tax is one of the best tax software programs. I have used it for years. The price is a little high but my overall experience has been good.
What's great about it: good instructions easy to follow
What's not so great: cost
