Awesome Refund

Have used TurboTax for several years, gets easier every year and always maximizes my refund with out the cost and time of going to someone to prepare them for me.

Turbo Tax makes it Easy!

I am not an accountant but I have found using Turbo Tax has been easy and a learning experience. The tutorials are easy to follow, if you think you made a mistake you can back up and fix it and I can do it at home with a nice cup of coffee, wearing comfy clothes. Thank you Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Easy to follow
What's not so great: Expensive
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I love using this program, when it comes to taxes I am not the sharpest crayon in the box. I have been using it for the last 9 years and just love how it saves you time and transfers all the information the year before into the new tax year. The tax preparation cost is much lower than going to a tax accountant. When I realized they were using this same program; I started doing it myself. One, last thing when they ask you questions you can go find the paperwork instead of assuming you gave your tax accountant everything they needed. I also love efiling if you are getting a refund it comes back quick or wait to pay on the 15th. I would highly recommend this software!
What's great about it: Gives good explanations in terms you can understand
What's not so great: Just wish they could throw a little magic in for more $$$

My old desktop computer crashed last year and I loaded TurboTax 2013 onto a new one. I also copied my 2012 TurboTax PDF file into My Documents folder on the new computer, but the 2013 program could not find it no matter what. I stuck it in the TurboTax directory and no luck there. I hung it under the program's nose with a juicy steak and TuboTax 2013 was completely oblivious to it. Total and complete fail on that feature so I had to retype everything in this year.
What's great about it: Quick, easy.
What's not so great: Quit trying to sell me additional services.

Needed to amend an already accepted return but could not get the program to respond. Not sure if it was filed or not. Help feature was a dismal failure. Program works good if you don't have to go in and make a correction to a mistake after returns are accepted.
What's great about it: original return was fairly easy
What's not so great: needed to amend and not sure it was filed. Now I'm awaiting the IRS knocking at my door.
