Maximized My Return

I found TurboTax to be extremely helpful in maximizing my refund. Will definitely use this software again next year.

Life Saver

I am so happy that I have Turbo Tax each year to walk me thru everything, remind me of deductions, to keep track of previous years and to do all the calculations and provide me with ITS DEDUCTIBLE which I print out as evidence of my donations and everything else it does for me.
What's great about it: The ease of which it walks me thru everything I need to do. Links to references.
What's not so great: Perhaps a little clearer on mortgage insurance premium issues

So easy.....

This is the second year I am using. Was easy to use, save it and come back with more info if I needed to and if I had any questions I was able to get the answers. I also got great returns!
What's great about it: Easy to follow and there is help if you are not sure
What's not so great: had a little problem between on line and downloaded editions

Great Program & Expedient

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and as always this year's software was exceptional. Both the Federal & State preparation, error check, comparison to previous years entries and Audit Risk Assessment was very efficient. I also appreciate the free Federal & State e-file.
What's great about it: Like the transfer process for previous Turbo Tax Filing & State Preparation

Not worth the money for most people

I don't like the way you are stepped through different screens. I don't know which lines were being filled in on which forms.
The program didn't find anything I didn't already have in my own system.
I have a feeling that for most people (straight income, maybe some dividends, deductions like mortgage, taxes, or charities) this program does not get them any larger a refund than they would have gotten on their own.
The only thing they got for their money is a single-use program they can never use again for anything.
I don't see myself wasting my money on this or any other tax program in the future.
What's great about it: I guess it will organize things for those who can't.
What's not so great: Cost
