2013 Taxes

This will be the 7th year we used this soft ware and it just keeps getting better and better. If your not sure of what the questions means they hve examples to showw, and since I have used it alot, it remembers all the info so I do not have to go back and look thisns up.

What's great about it: very easy to follow, Step by step
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

We appreciate Turbo Tax and the ease with which we can file. It takes care of the work for us and walking through all the steps is simple.
What's great about it: Made filing easy/simple & fast!

Great. Easy and Fast

If Turbo Tax could determine which state you live in to help with state specific deductions and to skip state tax altogether, it would be a great help.
What's great about it: Auto fill-in from last years return; Turbo Tax gives you the option on how to utilize deductions.
What's not so great: It doesn't diseminate in which state you live in to deternine if state taxes & car registration deductions apply.

got the job done

My problems last year with Form 1116 were never fixed: it asks a question I can't answer because of no context offered on the screen and from looking at the forms, the information isn't even necessary.
This year there is a new bug too: the program can't find the file when saving, even though it is in the default location and found it when opening the file. It can't even find it again later in the same session after I provide the location (and password) over and over.
What's great about it: I haven't every been audited
What's not so great: bugs remain year after year, new ones pop up

Turbo Tax is the easiest and greatest

This is the first year that I've done the taxes especially just after getting out of the hospital, had a stroke. My wife has always done the taxes. This time I decided to try to do them and they ended up perfect. I couldn't have asked for an easer return. A couple of years ago I bought the audit defense, my wife was skeptical about me buying it but the price was right and It really paid off. We got audited and they took care of everything and we won. Thank you turbo tax.
