Quite an Experience!

We've used this program for several years and every year it seems to get better. Only one issue this year that wasn't fully clear - it was in line with the way certain figures transferred from a Federal form to a (non) corresponding State form. All in all, a great experience...if you can call preparing tax forms a "great experience." We will certainly be back next year!
What's great about it: Quick and Easy and Accurate
What's not so great: Nada, once you get used to the formatting.

Couldn't be simpler

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and have always appreciated its simple step by step format. It is very user friendly and has links to resources for specific questions or concerns.
I have confidence in the computations and don't even need a calculator to complete my taxes. I enjoy having Fed, State, and Local all together and the pre-fills from previous year's returns also make comparisons very easy.

I had filing problem with e-file- it would not mail my file so I got on the Chat line with Aysha L ,who was very knowledgable, patient and knew how to calm a client down and got right to business.. She got me through it all. My file is on it's way to IRS and I'm a happy camper. Give Aysha my regards. I have filed with Turbo for 7yrs……I'm gonna do it again!!!!
What's great about it: I liked the assistance that I received when I had a problem w/e-file.
What's not so great: very little..to none.

2013 TurboTax Federal Tax Prep

Have used TurboTax for years. Utilizes a clear step by step process to progressively enter income, expenses, etc. When I ran error correction, it was a little unclear where/how you go back to correct entries, although it is very helpful function. It does generate a lot of worksheets, not too clear what is relevant, what is filed, what is needed to keep. Just keep them all just in case. Very helpful way to weed through the morass of IRS forms that become ever more complex every year.

Overall I continue to be extremely satisfied w/ TurboTax. I really like the interface (sometimes a bit slow) but it's very thorough.
What's great about it: Ease of use and ability to transfer tax due on specified date
What's not so great: Some of the screens take too long to go through
