Will Never Use Turbo Tax Again!

Clearly Qucken is maxizing their profit by cashing in on previous years success. Minimized product quality but selling for higher price!
Next year we will switch to better product at $20 savings.

- Help menus have mostly been removed /
- Hoover menu removed /
- Save Feature would not work - giving error that" Location of document "xxxx (my file name)" cannot be located - requiring me to Save As each time and replacing existing file /
- directions regarding HSA inputs non existent /
- even though some data transferred, I was forced to reconfirm everything / screen page longer than my Display page requiring that I PageDown on every screen to click Yes/No/Continue /
- we tried to get deduction for Student Loan interest paid in 2013 for school completed 6 years ago, but questions continually asked about being a student this year and could not go past (took 30 minutes going into the actual Forms to deleted everything related to being a "Current" student when we were NOT)
- On line Help menu was useless when I entered HSA questions; online was focused on Turbo Tax s/w issues not income tax preparation questions (I ended up goggling to find my answers /
- on PA State, s/w kept adding extra line from my W-2 and then asked me many questions about this additional income that I checked a box saying to remove it (lost 30 minutes to get the form deleted /
- Older years actually at the end compared this year return vs my past years and national averages - feature no longer provided /
- too many pop-ups trying to sell unnecessary extra services - stop it, if we want to by extra service put it at the very end and let us avoid having to go into that section

I followed your instructions when moving last years info over to my new computer but it didn't pick up my info like it did on my old computer and I had to enter all my info again.
Also the file I sent over to my old computer which has a printer attached won't print so I had to send the file to PICTURES and have it converted before I could print out a copy for my files. Pain in the neck!!!!!

Made a distasteful tedious task tolerable. I used to spend hours and always made dumb errors. This is my third year using Turbo Tax and its quicker and more accurate than doing it myself. Well worth the money.

Super easy to use. Importing data from last year's return was a snap. Almost all my forms were electronically uploaded. Was finished in a snap!!
What's great about it: Ease of use...maximizes refund!

everything is laid out in a manner that any one, even me with little education can use it.
What's great about it: everything was easly presented to the filer (me)
What's not so great: long time installing program and updates on my computer

I thought doing taxes would be scary if i did them myself. but when i decided to do it myself anyway i used turbo tax and never seen a reason to use any other services. turbo tax made tax season something to look forward to.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax walks you through everything
What's not so great: I Dont Know LOL
Pros: I had a baby, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
