Business as usual

I added an employer for my wife this year and at the end of the review just prior to filing the taxes...good ole Turbo Tax identified that I inadvertently put my own zip code in place of the zip code for the company whose corporate is out of my state. Saved by the program!!!!
What's great about it: Simple and thorough
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Another Successful Year!

I have been using this software since before 2000 and haven't been disappointed. I was audited and found mistake-free, even though I had a complicated business return. If I forget something, I'm reminded and have very little prep time for a very low fee. I took a return that I had filed with Turbo Tax and he couldn't find anything turbotax had missed.
What's great about it: User friendly. Updated.

The easiest painfree way to file!

The software works very well. The guidance and explanation for each step is clear and helpful. Once you use this program you will never again do it by hand!

OK, too expensive, can't print 1040-ES w/o DO NOT

Have e-file Federal taxes and still cannot print 2014 1040-ES without "DO NOT FILE" across the front.
What's great about it: EASY
What's not so great: Poor print options

great & easy experience

I use to do my own taxes with pen, paper and a directions booklet, but now I've used Turbo Tax for three years and it's made things SOOO much easier. It asks all the necessary questions, does the math for the necessary forms and makes tax season less stressful. Even though we have to pay out now, Turbo Tax has set up a payment plan throughout the year so that we can hopefully break even around tax time.
What's great about it: easy to use, raises questions I wouldn't know to ask
What's not so great: can't think of anything actually

TSP Clarification

Overall very good. Because I like others do this only once a year, we need a reminder.
"where is the distribution from?" TSP should be listed in the Qualified Government or public pension section.
What's great about it: 99.9% is what I needed!
What's not so great: TSP! is it a qualified Govt. pension or IRA?
