Easy

Again this year it was easy to complete the Q&A to complete the taxes. I enjoy using Turbo Tax because it is easy to use and understand. And I am not a computer genius by any stretch.
What's great about it: Straight forward. Answer each question and it's completely very quickly.
What's not so great: None that I found.

Consistently good but a slight dip this year

Been using TT for very long time, early 90's if I recall correctly. This year was slightly different with 3 minor annoyances. First, for some reason it got my employer ID messed up despite it not changing in years and being correctly identified on the W-2 and last year's 1040 (digital). Second, it did not calculate my Ohio school tax correctly. TT ignored the amount of tax already paid, which was in the appropriate block on the W-2. Had to fat finger the value in on the actual digital tax form page. And finally, the one step save a copy of the app and tax data on a single CD function was completely gone this year. Despite these annoyances TT still remains a good way to get taxes done quickly.
What's great about it: Ease of yearly import

Turbo Tax 3013

You get better every year. Would not use any other program even if free. I have a BSBA (act).
What's great about it: Was easy and collected ever thing
What's not so great: Did not have any problems.

Cherry (tech support agent) help me find error which caused state to reject efile return. We fixed it and refiled. She was very though and polite.

Problem solved in time

Everything went very smoothly through TurboTax until the review. It didn't like the fact that we received unemployment compensation-and then repaid it in the same year. A zero on line 19 of the 1040 form just upset everything. It took just over 3 hours on the phone with 3 representatives from Intuit and they were able to get everything straightened out & I could efile the Federal & State returns. A long time on the phone-but they corrected the problem for me. Very nice, helpful people at Intuit.
What's great about it: TurboTax walks you through all categories
What's not so great: TurboTax had an issue with unemployment compensation received & repaid
