Turbotax

Had issues this year for the first time. Program had blips. Wouldnt efile, wouldn'e download 1040A. Finally worked these out but not as easy as it usuallywas.
What's great about it: excellent program easy to use
What's not so great: funky problems this year. first time.

Easy to use

The only suggestion I have is for Turbo Tax to ask for the charities address while I'm entering the deductions rather than wait to request it upon a review.
What's great about it: I like that it picks up previous years info and is easy to use.

Quick and Easy!!

I have tried other tax products, but always end up coming back to TurboTax. The program essentially leads you through the process, and answers questions you hadn't even thought to ask yet. TurboTax is the most logical and user-freindly program I've found. It is great for simple returns and invaluable if you have a more complex return to file. Thanks to TurboTax, my girlfriend found refunds that even professional tax-preparers had missed!
What's great about it: TurboTax led me through the process. My taxes were so easy to do!
What's not so great: No cons at all. My state and federal taxes were finished in less than forty-five minutes!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Product Just Keeps Getting Better

I've used Turbo Tax for quite a few years. Every year there has been "just one thing" that would drive me to distraction. Not this year. Everything worked. Every question was logical. I could go between the forms and the questions without any difficulty. I like to keep printing the forms to compare them with previous returns. This has always been a major hassle in Turbo Tax. Even that worked easily this year. Thank you, Turbo Tax, for listening.
What's great about it: Q&A worked well.
What's not so great: Can't think of a thing.

2013 S/W vs 2012 ONLINE

it did not read last years file from turbo tax online. it did not successfully import my w2 even though it said it did. it did not always go back to where I saved it, although the data was there, it required me to click thru and confirm it all again :-(
What's great about it: software was easy and intuitive
What's not so great: did not sync with prior years online plus imports and saves unreliable

Always simple, Always Fast

Turbo Tax has become my favorite way to prepare my taxes. I used to like to do them by paper, then my life changed and my return got more complicated. This program thinks of things I forget and I have used it for the last 8 years.
I use it for my friends and family as well, with everyone having different twists from multiple businesses, multiple houses, retirements, school costs, etc.
Best program I have looked into!
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: None
Pros: I bought or sold investments
