Me and Turbo

Without a doubt I will continue to use Turbo Tax. There's nothing better out there.
What's great about it: Almost everything was great.
What's not so great: Close out at end was a little confusing

Handy Dandy Turbo Tax!

Turbo Tax is the only way to go! Why spend money on someone else doing your taxes? Just follow the simple steps/questions that they have, and VOILA you're done!
What's great about it: quick, easy, reliable
What's not so great: I had a little issue with e-filing.

i have used for the past 10 years and would not change, no audits, no contact from irs, very impressed.
What's great about it: easy to use, covers all subjects, carries over from last year
What's not so great: doesn;''t spell out all of the deductions it is giving from past year

What's great about it: Lets you import and compare your taxes year to year!!!!
What's not so great: I dont get to visit a tax office and spend hours while some seasonal employee walks me through their tax software...

Problems This Time!

As usual, the program was easy to work with. However, in spite of multiple attempts, my federal return could not be e-filed. My state return went through without any problems, but the federal return would not go through. I received a message that new updates were available, but when I tried to get them, I was told that there were NO new updates. After more than twenty attempts at e-filing, I gave up, printed out the return, and mailed it in. Very disappointing.
What's great about it: Very easy to work with
What's not so great: Unable to file federal return electronically

We have been using Turbotax for years and very year gets better. We love the interview, it helps assure us that we've covered everything.
What's great about it: love the interview method, makes me feel like i've covered everything!
What's not so great: sometimes hard to go back to a certain spot

2013 Tax Year

Best attribute is automatic forward of prior year information that makes it very easy to complete the current year. It remembers all of the stuff that one might forget to include.
Step by step would be good for new users, but I have simply go in on my own and clicked those items needed updating.
What's great about it: Many
What's not so great: Few
