Excellent Once Again

Once again, everything was as smooth as glass...
What's great about it: Easy! Turdo Tax makes you feel confident nothing has been missed or over-looked..
What's not so great: They make you pay for your State Tax filing when it is free to do in my State - IL., online.

Refund not nearly as good as the past few years

needs better list of deductions and bigger selection of line of work you do to try to maximize deductions more. Otherwise I trust TurboTax and will use it again.
What's great about it: fast and accurate
What's not so great: needs list of every deduction

This is terrible

Just terrible.
I paid for e-return for Federal and State and the program cannot validate the e-return.
What's great about it: ease of compiling
What's not so great: Second year in a row where I have to mail returns b/c of transmission problems
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Super easy

Love this software. This is my 5th year using Turbo Tax. One year I was going to use a competitors software to save money. I couldn't get it loaded on my computer. Called their customer service several times. In the end I had a messed up computer and returned the software. I will only use Turbo Tax. I have no problems loading the software or using it. I had a child start college this year and I was walked righ trough the most beneficial credit for me. I am able to go back and double check my work as much as I want to. I have the upmost confidence my tax return is done correctly.
What's great about it: Info easy to enter. ask questions on how things have changed for you.
What's not so great: Didn't have any cons.

I would recommend Turbo Tax to anyone who does not have a complicated tax return. I have used it for 4 years. Love the transfer concept, only this year I could not access the website through Desert Schools and had to buy the software.
What's great about it: Like that they cover all new updates
What's not so great: Could not access website - had to buy software

I have been using Turbotax for at least 5 years and have found it to be the BEST. Its easy to follow and works you through every possible deduction that is available. I wouldn't use any other program that's on the market.
What's great about it: Easy to work through the guides and gives you an up to date snapshot of refund or tax due
What's not so great: None found
