I have used TurboTax before it is always very easy to use. It simply guides you through every situation you might have.

Smooth Transition

Went from a lot of income last year to very little this year. Turbo tax ask the important questions to get the filing correct.
What's great about it: Walk me through my various changes over the last year.
What's not so great: State sign-off was confusing

What's not so great: there are hidden deductions you may not know about

Death and taxes. Everyone wants to avoid death and taxes. Not much you can do about death. But Turbo Tax makes the Taxes part easy. Thanks again for walking us though the process.

Better than expected

Overall I am very satisfied with Turbo Tax, we are going on some six years using it, and I don't see any reason why anyone filing a tax return would pay a "pro" to do what you can do at home.
What's great about it: Very detailed
What's not so great: The transmission time was too long

how do you do a 'what if' to plan for next year?
