Blown Away!

Really excited to prepare our return this year. With two in college and a new Grandchild in the house, we were very excited to see the BIG increase in our refund. We just answered the questions and Turbo Tax did all the work. Thank you, Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Super Easy
What's not so great: Cumbersome to remove irrelevant 2012 information

Great Product!

I've been using TurboTax for many, many years. It is a comprehensive and easy-to-use product which explains what you need, what you need to do, and how to do it! I recommend this product to anyone who wants to do their own taxes (as opposed to paying someone else). They offer audit support as well so you're covered in case of an audit and they rate the complexity of your return in regard to potential for audit. Keep up the good work Intuit!
What's great about it: Easy to understand.
What's not so great: None.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great refund!

I have been a TurboTax user for years and will continue to use this program. The software ensures I get back what is owed to me and that I do not forget to include all necessary charges and fees.
What's great about it: Quick, love the step by step process.

TurboTax has always been amazing and I have used it for years. This year not so much! The updater did not work and I did not discover the problem until I got to the sales tax deduction for my state. I tried to us the in program update now, and received error codes saying I couldn't connect to the internet. Not so! I finally used the manual download and updated that way, then had to check that the update worked. Multiple times the program took me back through areas I had completed. The sales tax deduction area kept popping back up as not completed, even though it was, and it and I had checked multiple times to find the info I had submitted in place. Needless to say, this was VERY frustrating. Finally finished and filed. Please do better next year!!! I would hate to have to find anew program for my taxes!

My Turbo Tax experience was even easier this year than last year. Having used Turbo Tax last year allowed all of my data to show up in a side by side comparison that gave me the piece of mind that I wasn't missing anything. My W2 last year wasn't able to be uploaded, but it was this year. This was overall a great experience.
