I have moved often, and no matter what state I'm in, Turbo tax makes it so easy to enter my information, get all the deductions I can and file! They even make figuring partial years in two states easy.
What's great about it: simple to enter information, easy to find instructions for clarification,ease of filing,
What's not so great: None

Smoothes out complications

I don't have much that makes my taxes complicated. But for the few things that do Turbo Tax makes it easy to follow and makes sense of all the confusion. Then before I know it, my taxes are done and I have a refund on its way to me.

Helps with the complexities of Tax filing

Not only does Turbo tax help ease the headache of filing tax returns, but also provides good basic education on rules for tax filing.
What's great about it: Good and detailed walk through. Updates are always current.
What's not so great: Sometimes one has to research a bit before answering a question.

Excellent Experience with No State Tax

Every year I use TurboTax to do my federal taxes. Every year the program hovers on preparing my state income taxes. Which is always problematic, since we don't have a state income tax. I wish the program would more easily bypass this for those of us that do not have a state income tax, have no intangible assets and do not own a corporation. It also had a problem in describing my Health Insurance options, I found the descriptions in the program unclear. All told these problems were minor, encompassing about 1 percent of the time I took to fill out my taxes.
I would recommend this program to others.
I like this program a lott and have been using it for as long as I can remember.
What's great about it: Made entry of almost everything easy
What's not so great: Unclear about what type of medical insurance I had.

Always use Turbo Tax

I have used TurboTax for many years. Bringing the information forward from last year's return gives me a good picture of what I need to collect and complete. Importing my information from my brokerage account is simple and saves a great deal of time.
What's great about it: Info from previous year and importing key data

I bought turbo tax think over the year it has help me get the most money back and now they tell me I have one free state tax filling, now I have to pay for both of my taxes. I bought the program and just pay more money to file my taxes. how fair is that?
