Good solid program

This was a good version of Turbo Tax. I finished my return in a day, a record for me. The non-cash charitable contribution section still makes it difficult to enter items not on the list. I had 50 individual care items valued at ten cents each. It refused to accept this, stating items over $500. had to be entered a different way -- in spite of its own total of $5. I guess this was just a little glitch. The rest of the program was the best ever.
What's great about it: Easiest version ever
What's not so great: Still hard to enter non-cash charitable contributions

I have filed three separate federal/state returns and all three state returns have failed. The state is Mass. Any idea why these e-filings are failing?

Very Good Tax Preparation

This procedure is much easier than sitting through a session with a tax preparer. I have had mixed results over the years with professionally prepared taxes. I now only seek guidance if I need help with something out of the ordinary. If you have routine tax issues this is the way to go. It also saves so much money versus the pros. Pros tend to charge you for every additional form required. It eats up your refund if you get one.
What's great about it: Simple step by step procedure
What's not so great: Very few technical issues

Love it. I have been using turbo tax for years. Started when I had to start filing my mother's taxes as well as mine. It was a life (and money) saver.
