Error checks sometimes are not accurate.
What's great about it: Eay to follow
What's not so great: sometimes explanantions are not good enough

Helped the Helpless

I needed a human to help me amend my 2012 Federal return, and both Anne & Peggy walked me thru the steps to complete this task.
I actually get some money back now!
Thanks for the human help - no computer can do this for we humans who pay taxes!

The product leads you by the hand through the complicated business of filing your income taxes.
What's great about it: Gets the job done quickly and easily.
What's not so great: None really

My husband is working in Afghanistan and qualified to file 2013 taxes until six months after he returns. I decided to go ahead and pay our 2013 taxes before he even returned from Afghanistan. I was unable to access all my information, which was a little irritating because I had to pay more money and then reenter everything!!! Maybe leaving access to everything until the end of the year or leaving it open forever would be a better choice.
What's great about it: Have used for over 10 years and love it
What's not so great: I was not able to look at my 2013 work I had completed in order to mail my taxes at a later day.

Start on time but always files late

Almost every year I start with plenty of time to file my taxes, but somewhere between the beginning of the tax season and the end of the tax season, I get distracted. What is good about Turbo Tax, they suggest alternatives for me to consider when filing my late return.
What's great about it: gives me options when I miss filing deadline

Hate Tax Prep&File

My experience with TurboTax took 90% of the stress out of this process for me because I have always paid someone else to work out this maze called tax prep. So now, that I can't afford to have someone else do it, I was forced to look at other options to get it done. TurboTax was my life saver - I used another tax product one year and it was not easy. For me trying to work between TurboTax and H&R Block was very challenging. Mainly trying to get information to carry over from one product to the next - that was mainly with H&R Block, because TurboTax transferred easily to that product but going back to was a problem. Added on extra stress delays and anxiety.
I strongly recommend TurboTax (and stay with it) for it's simplistic way method for getting the taxes done! Just answering questions and the helps that are available with this product, made my experience far less stressful.
