Easiest Tax Return Ever!!!!

Even though I had to do file an extension, Turbo Tax made it easy. Less Stress and they found me some deductions that I wasn't expecting. Nice!
What's great about it: The ease of the whole process.

Overall, I have been a user many years. Ever since I filed manually one year!! (First time ever doing my own taxes...) Turbotax looks up all the rules for me! My 13 year old son used to do my our whole family's taxes on Turbo tax. It's THAT easy! Now he owns his own business, and uses TurboTax product for his business!
What's great about it: Made error-you found it-& helped me to correct & refile in a few minutes!
What's not so great: Gets tricky to back track/start over with stuff....
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TurboTax Helped Me Survive My Disk Crash

I've used TurboTax for 7 years and although I grimace at tax season I love the easy-to-use yet comprehensive tool that is TurboTax. This year it saved my bacon when well into the tax-filing extension our disk drive crashed and all our data bit the dust, including prior tax data and the half complete 2013 file.
Feeling like the idiot I was for not backing up my system I had to get my taxes done by the October extension date. I re-loaded TurboTax and started as a newbie. Piece of cake. The worst part was having to track down the medical and credit card data that had been lost on our computer. The easiest was using TurboTax to pull all of the information together. And because TurboTax lets you see how you're doing - do you owe or not? - I was able to determine that I had max'd out on my refund without documenting all the little itty bitty medical expense deductions that would take me another day or two of work. I can always amend my return if I deem it worthwhile. Start-to-finish my 2013 return took less than 2 days and I still have my sanity. I am also confident my return is correct and legal. Thank you, Intuit!

Fast, Easy & Accurate

I've been using Turbo Tax to do my taxes since 2003. It really past the test for me when in 2012 I became the executor of my parents estate. I inherated property and investments and a very different tax situation. Turbo tax made it easy!
What's great about it: Easily guides you through with a step by step process

Almost perfect

When first opening my return one of the necessary updates did not update. I ignored it because I wasn't sure if I would need it. Once getting ready to file my return, I get a message saying that I cannot continue because I need to update. I wish I was told that earlier on when I first started so that I could have taken care of the issue at the beginning instead of at the end when I was tired.
What's great about it: User friendly, easy to follow

You should be able to pull in the stuff from previous years....I thought it use to do that....the carry over stuff, etc. Pls do this. Also, more help could be provided for the K1 stuff....was not very helpful. You can do better in this area.....come on man.
What's great about it: Nice to be lead by the hand, asked the important questions, and did the math correct.
What's not so great: Should be able to pull info in from previous years when the file is on same computer. The K1 stuff is complicated...

What's great about it: STEP BY STEP WALKTHRU OF ITEMS
What's not so great: Some items from previous returns do not automatically fill in.
