Almost Bill & Turbo's Excellent Adventure

I have been using TurboTax for years. I started when one year I was disappointed with the refund I was getting from the work my accounted had done. So I purchased Turbo and, just for fun, ran the numbers and discovered that I Turbo found additional deductions and credits that my accountant had never asked me about. The result was a 30% bigger refund and the end of my relationship with that tax accountant!

Always thorough and accurate

I am always amazed at the improvements to my tax filing experience. I love the ItsDeductable import features. The walk through questions help me plan to next years data management.
What's great about it: Easy to enter info, no missed data

I started with Mac-in-Tax decades ago and it just keeps working and getting better. I long for the day of a simpler tax code but until then Turbo Tax makes the situation manageable!

Thorough and Fast

Have used TurboTax for a long time. Install Great, Updates Great, Advice Great. Compiled My returm instantly. The program has a lot of helps as well as complete support with the option on if you are using the version of TurboTax that is right for you. - Will use TurboTax next tax season.
What's great about it: To the point, Informative

Best year so far

This is my twentieth year of using TurboTax and it was the easiest so far in terms of usability, clarity of instructions and comprehensive coverage of my tax situation. There were only a handful of items (fewer than ever) where the program didn't capture the data in the interview and I had to make manual adjustments. Thanks, TurboTax!

I've used Turbo Tax for over ten years and will again next year. I love it! I can do it at my own pace, stop and start again in the place I left off. Thanks!
What's great about it: The two Turbo Tax employees I spoke with helped tremendously! I really like that it takes me step by step.
What's not so great: State sales tax form was not immediately available so it caused a delay and confusion.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

First Experience

Will I do this again? To save a little money -probably. However I won't know for sure until I know for certain that the IRS accepted and found no fault with the filing. I want to see that the guarantees are genuine.
What's great about it: I liked how helpful and knowledgeable the expert representative was when I needed help.
What's not so great: I did not like that I was filing on an Extension and felt anxious and stressed.
