Have been using TT for ever. It is still not perfect and it is because of the little things like above. In October, I would like to open up my return and finish. Instead I need to search to make sure I am ready to finish and to make sure I have asked for an extension. AND I never can just e-file in spite of TT asking me 10 times to e-file. And there is never an explanation of what forms are stopping the e-file!!
What's great about it: Accurate numbers, flows fairly well, helps in complicated returns like mine
What's not so great: Each year I ask for an extension & when I come back to TT I always have to search to make sure I have done it right

Overall, was an almost flawless experience. I've been using Turbotax for years. Gets better every year.
What's great about it: Concise, Menu Driven approach
What's not so great: Point of needing to import Quicken + procedure unclear

We would GREATLY appreciate it if the program were able to cross reference other returns for the purpose of the FORM 8615 "Tax for Certain Children Who Have Unearned Income". We find it EXTREMELY time-consuming to go back and forth, back and forth between the various returns, capturing the data and putting it in again and again.
What's great about it: Being able to walk through various forms individually or step by step
What's not so great: The inability of the program to reference other returns automatically
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Again Turbotax save me

Turbotax imports last years info and allows me to compare with this year. It helps me remember what documents I need.
What's great about it: Year on Year compairson
What's not so great: I still have to file taxes

What's not so great: Turbo tax 13 would not mix with 2007.gave a lot of trouble.

Much easier than programs I have used in the past. Took a lot less time and very pleased with the program.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
