What's great about it: Software menus and navigation is consistent from year to year
What's not so great: I have been using this product for 9 years and know the answers. Can it be easier to go to right area

Would have liked a detailed explanation of where this penalty amount came from. We can't figure it out. We paid a late estimated payment but filed an extension form on time.
What's great about it: Very helpful with a complicated return
What's not so great: Showed a $239 penalty on the Ohio return with no explanation

military & state of AL

Always throws me.,. Turbo Tax doesn't correctly reduce from state of AL income the amount of retired military pay. AL doesn't tax military retirement pay. Always have to watch this closely using Turbo Tax and override.
What's great about it: does most okay
What's not so great: does not correctly reduce state income per miltary retired pay

What's great about it: After a little research I got it done.
What's not so great: K1 import option has to be manually done.

It Just Works...and works well

Good consistent software. Context sensitive help screens could be improved. But it is rock solid in doing the job and using data from previous year TurboTax filings
What's great about it: The more years that you use it, the easier it gets
What's not so great: Some helps screens are not comprehenisve enough

Found Reported Error for 2012

Took more time than expected. Far more than in other years. Thought the price for submitting for a refund was a little steep. Will probably continue to use TURBO Tax in spite of the questions this year's filing raised in my mind.
What's great about it: I will have to check the income error reported for 2012
What's not so great: Seeing an error for the report comparison 2012 to 2013 seems uncommon.
