Our return was very simple, but it's easier to prepare, file, and check than a hand-written return.

Thank you for NOT changing the program much year to year. Nobody wants to learn new tax software each year.

Been using turbo tax for years now. Always been satisfied with the amount of time and the refunds calculated. Great to have the confidence in knowing I got an accurate federal and state return

Problem this year

This year my federal was rejected. I hopefully fixed it but not certain yet. If it does not allow me to efile I believe there should be a free Turbotax for 3014. This si the primary reason I use Turbotax
What's great about it: Fast and helpful
What's not so great: final section to print/file not always clear cut
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Easy to Use

I have used TurboTax for several years to do my and my parents' tax returns. I would not do my taxes without it. TurboTax will talk you through the process, and it reduces the chances of forgetting or miscalculating a deduction. Since I used it for my taxes last year, It showed my how my deductions compared to last year's.
What's great about it: Very Specific
What's not so great: Itemizing medical expenses
