imported records are confusing

In importing records from brokerages, better to put the account number as the leading indicator and then the brokerage firm. This way, the user can identify the account information easier for manual review.
What's great about it: direct import brokerage records
What's not so great: error correction suggestion not helpful
Pros: I bought or sold investments

My GA state return didn't give me the option to apply my refund to next year's estimated tax while using Turbotax desktop software. I am forced to take the refund when I had in fact planned to apply it in my tax planning. I had filed an extension so this now being later in the tax year, has fouled my tax planning. Looking through the Intuit tax forum I see others have incurred the same problem, when searching how to apply their state refund.
What's great about it: Federal worked fine
What's not so great: State return doesn't allow one to apply their refund to tne next year.

Printing...if I need the Federal return to attach to my state return, only print it if I ask for it. It was a waste of paper to reprint the Federal return when I only wanted a copy of the State return.
What's great about it: most everything
What's not so great: Printing
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Filed for a federal extensiion and paid estimate tax and it was difficult to find this when checking completed form.
The Charity portion also gave me a problem - no way to correct the spelling of a chartiy without deleting it and starting all over. Also, during the review process, I received several notices that there were errors. These related to the Charity Session. Hopefully you can tweek this section
I do not have a nickname but you insist that I do. So I entered my first name
What's great about it: Basically a Good Product
What's not so great: The review error process is a bit unnerving

last year for turbo tax

Go back to the way it was set up a few years ago with easy access to forms and not auto connected to worksheets. This made doing the taxes longer and far more laborious than needed. respect your customer, not the geek who likes to write software programs....
What's great about it: not much
What's not so great: too much automatic stuff I don't want or need. no way to easily by-pass worksheets/items not needed.
