Poor quality product and service

You system CREATED error after error. This product was not well vetted and really should not have been offer to the public in this poor condition.
What's great about it: Cheap
What's not so great: Very poor quality

Do not know why I waited so long to use Turbo Tax

Although I have held the position of controller for a major Corp I always had a CPA do my taxes. Somehow after dealing with financial items day to day I just didn't want to fiddle with IRS regulations and forms completion. Now that I am retired I figured I would do it myself. I think it will be easier next year.
What's great about it: I thnk the workbook flows very well.
What's not so great: Some of the error corrections were difficult to clear

Used TurboTax over ten years running. Will be back next year.
What's great about it: Multiple views (step by step and forms)
What's not so great: Would like to be able to see this year and last year side by side, to compare as I go along.

Easy for an Old Lady to use---I mean it--I'm 87

My late husband and I have used Turbo Tax for years. It has always been team work. Now I am at the helm and found I am pretty computer savy for a senior lady! Turbo Tax makes it easy.

I have been using Turbo Tax for a good number of years. I must say each year it gets easier, and I recommend it to everyone I know asking about preparing taxes themselves. I would like for the problem with It'sDeductible to be corrected. I had all my yearly information in and Turbo Tax was not able to log in as well as myself having problems logging in. I ended up having to enter all the data again myself into Turbo Tax. Other than that GREAT program.
What's great about it: Ease of walking me through my return
What's not so great: It'sdeductible was not able to log into my account

Complications in tax regulations make Turbo Tax a necessity
What's great about it: Program is easy to follow.
What's not so great: State refund calculations and application could be easier.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I love turbo tax and have been using it for years. But, as I grow and my income grows, I need tips and tricks on how to get as many deductions as I can.
What's great about it: walks you step by step through the basic process
What's not so great: you aren't getting the ends and outs of the tax world.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
