I have been using TurboTax for many, many years. It is an awesome program that is very easy to use. As a matter of fact, I have recommended your program to numerous friends. It's the only way to go when doing your taxes.

Since I used your product last year, I was expecting to see 2 column for both years as I enter the values. It is only showing it after I enter. Please show entry for current year and value entered for previous year to jog one's memory.

Should know better

I've used TurboTax for decades and always found it a terrific way to do both state and fed taxes. However, as the state side has gotten more complex, it seems to not be keeping up. For example, it should know that PA and NJ have a reciprocity agreement and just ask if your employer pays the other's taxes. Also, it needs a link to the state tax web page to make it easier to get specific information - especially for those of us that now have a retired spouse as that can change how all this works.

State Frustrations

Unlike the Federal program, very little guidance is provided in the state programs. Business related income is especially difficult to segregate when filing in multiple states.
What's great about it: The Federal program is thorough and easy to follow.
What's not so great: The state programs are very frustrating.

Loved the Deductibles help

I filed an extension through Turbo Tax and finished filing in August. Easy to pick up where I left off and even filed with a payment plan without any hassles.
What's great about it: Easy walk through to get current valuation of donated items. Like the step by step instructions and suggestions.
