Easier and faster every year

I have been filing with TurboTax for over a decade. I still remember how painful and awkward filling out tax forms by hand used to be. As a test, I hired a tax accountant to prepare our returns one year - and compared the result to TT. There is just no substitute for this software package!
What's great about it: Speed and accuracy
What's not so great: none!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

You have a few frustrating issues this year. As usual, you ask far too many questions on individual charitable donations. You should allow overrides and allow filing with overrides.
Further, for this year, I could not get a color copy, with the blue fields I previously had, of my tax return.

Lots of help!

After considerable research, I found that the Clergy Housing Allowance has been ruled unconstitutional by a Federal District Court, but is still usable pending appeal. TT had no help for me. Everything else was a breeze!
What's great about it: With one exception, TT led me directly through my filing.
What's not so great: There was no help for my Clergy Housing Allowance.

needs some more explanation on limitations on lines of form 2441 when a taxpayer is married filing separately, don't understand those.
What's great about it: i like form entry
What's not so great: don't like the inability to override an entry before e-filing, whether it is a fail-safe with the IRS or not.

The software and filing fees seem to have increased rapidly over the past years.
The software is great for the most part. However, if you want to go to another area to review your response to something, you cannot quickly toggle back to the last spot you left off.
Also, every time I start, it goes to the registration screen. It should provide an option of going to where I left off or to a different file, again going to where I left off.
What's great about it: It works well
What's not so great: It's getting too expensive to buy and efile the software.
