I have used TT for many years. There has been a steady progression to the current version.
What's great about it: Data entry is relatively easy.
What's not so great: Hard to go back more than a page or two.. Need to go back to begining of section in many cases.

A great time-saver for me!

I have to do several returns for family members and friends. This saves me time because a few of them are very complicated. I like that the Turbo Tax program does the calculations for me and walks me through the tax forms step by step so I don't forget anything.
What's great about it: transfer of last years info is very helpful
What's not so great: updates are very slow and online filing is way too expensive!

The prodcut gets better every year. I've used it for the last 10 years.
What's great about it: Easy to use

Always my first choice (and recommendation)

I use TurboTax every year; it almost makes paying taxes a pleasure (well, it significantly reduces the pain...). I can't think of any areas I would like to improve-- except for the last minute, 'special' e-file fee for state taxes. It just feels like a gotcha.
What's great about it: Quick, detailed, sequential process. Easy to follow and understand
What's not so great: E-file fee for state; everything is convenient *if* you pay extra

How about another hidden charge?

I'm tired of having to pay extra for things that should be included such as a state return and state tax efiling.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Well organized.
What's not so great: Extra Charges.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

What's great about it: Very easy to follow, handles most situations
What's not so great: Could use more help screens... for example my 1099-R had a Special Use Code entry that is not even shown in TurboTax doc
