Refund beyond belief!

I started out hoping for about $100 as a refund (but honestly had no clue how things would turn out.) As I was out of the country, I filed an extension and was praying for the best. I couldn't have been more surprised! Over $1900 federal and over $600 state refunds. And it wasn't that hard. Even when Turbo Tax asked me for items I never thought of and didn't have available, I could either continue and return to those items later or save the file at that point, go get the docs and return where I left off. I'll never do taxes any other way again if I have a choice!
What's great about it: Simple, concise breakdown of the areas one needs to address-without all the juggling of so many forms.
What's not so great: Could use improvement as to income items covered separately, such as rental properties.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

WI State package lacks details on amending return

The links to the amendment instructions did not work and a search of the TT website returned no documents found regarding amending a WI return.

Love turbo tax

stumped by return review

Same as prior years except I could not eliminate a error the program was reporting on one of my k1 limited partner entries.
I finally gave up and filed the return by mail as the program would not let me file it electronic . Not sure what the IRS will do with a $300 entry that has no impact on the tax due.

Great Experience

Excellent product! I love the ease of using it. It walks you through everything. It explains everything and if there is still a question, it gives you the option of being able to see more help. I like the fact that it transfers the data from the prior year if everything remains the same. Very easy and user friendly.
