Bomb Out My Return

I would definitely tell others about filing their returns by using turbo tax.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax has someone available at all times to asisst me with any questions that I did not understand on my return. Tha
What's not so great: It is time consuming other than that it was great.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used Turbo Tax every year since 1995. Only keeps getting better.
What's great about it: affordable, reliable, thorough, imports history from prior year returns
What's not so great: None

Trouble ,trouble, trouble

I could not E-file my tax return because there was a supposed error on my federal tax return becvause of the medical insurance deduction on my retirement pension. I paid for the E-file fee but was unable to E-file my return because of the error. I shoulf be refunded my E-file fee..
I will probably no longer use this tax program because of the difficulty I experienced this year.

What's great about it: The program was pretty thorough
What's not so great: I had issues with the deduction for medical insurance off my 1099R

The program has very good prompts and functons well, did have difficulty updating the software the automatic version crashed and after several attempts I had to manually down load and install the updates.
What's great about it: Good program for total taxes
What's not so great: Updates did not work very well, had to result to manual updates

What's great about it: Continue as is - appreciate the predictive nature of Turbo Tax
What's not so great: Too many problems with tax talk - don't understand
