I have been using TT for several years and it has always worked well. When working with some sections it is sometimes a little cumbersome to get back to where you were if you have to stop. Usually this just means clicking next from the beginning of the section.
overall, great product.
What's great about it: easy, stays the same from year to year
What's not so great: some sections hard to get back to quickly

Thought I had filed both Federal & State returns on April 15th. I just now (June 17th) that my returns were rejected because of a PIN error from my 2012 tax return. I am obviously late and have now resubmitted but am not very happy about it. Spent considerable time re-doing what should have been done first time.
Pros: I moved

Good also for Expats!

I have been always using TurboTax when I was living in US and now living abroad, it is still working OK! The software should need some small changes to accept foreign telephone numbers and other non-American data, but the rest is working perfect! No need to go to expensive lawyers or accountants experts in expats, just follow the easy instructions and questions from TurboTax.
What's great about it: Easy to use in the case of working & living alone
What's not so great: Basically no cons for Expats
Pros: I moved

The state estimated taxes for 2014 not computing correctly, but otherwise everything was easy and to use.
What's great about it: made changes and updated quickly
What's not so great: on state return in NC does not give proper estimated tax due net year

Turbo Tax saves me the hassle of worrying about all of the tax credits that I may be missing. For example the Education Credits, I had no idea and this was a pleasant surprise since this is our first year having to fund a college student. So easy to do that I didn't want to tell my husband because he would expect me to have everything ready to submit by 12:01am Jan 1st every year! So with that I say Have a stress free New Year with Turbo Tax! Christina Cheverie
What's great about it: I just answered the questions!
What's not so great: Didn't talk to me!

took a lot of time to find the very detailed information required for k-1. 'unavailable' is not an entry option and explanations for zero values are required. would like to see more entry options.
What's great about it: able to export 1099s from financial institutions thereby saving a lot of aggrevation
What's not so great: unable to bypass entries required by turbo tax when information provided to me is not in the exact format as required
Pros: I bought or sold investments
