Quick and Easy

I have been using Turbo Tax since 1994 and see no reason to try another tax program.
What's great about it: Easy to folow, calculations correct,
What's not so great: Too many questions, no short cut for standard deduction filing

Turbotax is easy to use but needs a few tweaks

I've used TurboTax for several years to prepare my Federal returns without any problems, However, I've had a few issues with preparing MO & IA returns for the last two years. I had to use overrides to correct errors in the following sections:
MO return: Form MO-A, part 1
IA return: Form IA 1040, step 6
MO return: Form MO-A, part 1
IA return: Form IA 1040, step 6
What's great about it: Federal return is easy to navigate, "It's Deductable" is a useful bonus.
What's not so great: State returns (MO & IA) require overrides to correct a few errors.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Can't do taxes without Turbo Tax

There is no way that I would be able to do my taxes myself if it wasn't for this program, combined with my Quicken. I will continue to use TT every year
What's great about it: So Easy and Thorough!
What's not so great: Not much...

I can file my taxes inm the privacy of my home and maximise my credits.Tax preparation services charge a lot of money yet do not pay special attention to detail to maximixe my credits.
What's great about it: I able to maximise my credits.
What's not so great: It took a while to file my taxes,the deluxe 2013 version was not updated and missed several forms.

Turbotax is convenient aand maximises my credits.
What's great about it: My credits were maximized.
What's not so great: It took a ehilewhile to file my taxes,the 2013 Deluxe version needed to be updated with new IRS forms

I have filed 2 returns before april 2014 irs has not accepted it I have used turbo in the past but I wont use it again

It took hours to download, and only with the help of an exceptional person was I able to accomplish the down load at all, and then it took me three hours to do my US return.
What's great about it: Allows you to efile
What's not so great: Very difficult for a foreign national to complete
