Easy to follow, actually fun in a strange way! Lots of options for help if you get stuck, a few of which I have tried, and worked well. Some of the technicalities of taxes cannot be simplified further, TurboTax makes taxes as unintimidating as possible. I feel confident that my taxes have been filed properly. Thanks!
What's great about it: Easy to follow
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great alternative to hiring an accountant or tax preparer. Easy to follow instructions, easy to file return, print and save to personal records.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Does not allow for comparison to last year's return

i used TT for many years but first time e-filed, did not know that i will have to pay extra for that, my advice - print it and male it in, will save for a dinner...
its still 100 times cheaper then any other services - unless u want to do it by hand...

Tax Filing Made Easy

TurboTax does an excellent job looking at all the applicable options for an individual's tax returns.
What's great about it: The TubroTax software does an excellent job.
What's not so great: Some time is required to evaluate N/A options.

Bad News

I am trying to efile my Federal and State returns, but the program won't let me because is keeps saying that 01/01/2013 to 12/31/2013 s more then 365 days. I have tried using 01/02/2013 and 12/01/2013 and there is no way to get it to work. Every time I try to efile it keeps giving me the same error message. I am just going around in a circle.
What's great about it: It is easier then doing it yourself.
What's not so great: It gives bad information and there is no way to get around it.

Only one email

Filing was easy enough but my return was rejected by the IRS saying they couldn't identify me or my spouse which makes no sense that TurboTax couldn't provide the information automatically since we used them the year before too. When it was rejected I only got one email and it was lost amongst the 12 other emails from turbotax and intuit about confirmation of payment and asking about surveys, etc. Wish they would monitor that more closely or better yet figure out how to give the IRS my info since it worked just fine last year and I'm still the same person with all of the same information.
What's great about it: straightforward filing
What's not so great: Return was rejected and I only got one email about it
