It is impossible to e-file from abroad without a US phone number.
The AMT part is not very clear. The instruction to complete form 6251 are not clear.
For line 1 of form 6251 it looks like TurboTax doesn't copy the right value from the previous year 1040 form. It takes line 38 value insteade of line 41.

What's great about it: Data imported from previous year

E-Filing

I kept on getting this message that I could not e-file unless I uploaded updates. I uploaded updates, but this still did not take care of the problem!!
What's great about it: This is one of the reasons I like your product, but I had problems doing it!
What's not so great: The key feature failed!!!

Got me through major changes in my taxes this year

I have used Turbo Tax since its inception. The ease of switching between forms and step by step is very helpful. It is easy to get questions answered. IRS forms and guides are at your fingertips. Printed copies are clear and simple to read. The error check highlights mistakes and eases the mind.
I have recommended it to many people. I used to do my children's taxes as well as my own. Now they can do their own and they use Turbo Tax. This year the first grandchild will need to file. Turbo Tax will be the "teacher."

What's great about it: Questions are clear and not having to "do the math" is super!
What's not so great: Although I used Turbo Tax, I had to paper file last year. I missed transferring my data this year.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Love Turbotax!

I love TurboTax and have been using it for upwards of 10 years. My only complaint is that when it finds an error, the help it provides to resolve the error is oftentimes not that helpful.
What's great about it: Easy step-by-step walk-through of each section of the tax return.
What's not so great: Sometimes errors are difficult to resolve and help is not detailed enough.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

New Turbo Tax for 13

Last year (12) TurboTax was a breeze and so easy to do.
This year, [in an effort (we guess) to make it shorter,] If items did not affect our tax, we could not enter them. I like to enter all items as a guide for future tax returns.
Example: Sales Tax that we track, a cash loss from wild animals damage to car and the taxable amount of some income items.
What's great about it: Faster, better downloads
What's not so great: confusing and "help" search of no value
