Outstanding......as usual

We have used Turbo Tax year after year for a good reason.... It's fantastic. So easy to use. We donate a lot of items to thrift stores every year. Turbo Tax makes it easy to enter amounts for our donations. Just wish they had more items so we don't have to enter values on our own. We'll be using them for years to come.
What's great about it: Very easy to use.
What's not so great: Add a lot more items to the donations list.

Pretty standard fare

We have used Turbo Tax for a few years now. I recommend it to a lot of people. It's pretty simple to help you prepare and file taxes. Couldn't see any other way of doing them. Too complicated to do on our own, too expensive to have them prepared.
What's great about it: Updates constantly
What's not so great: Some of the terminology is vague

My tax situation is pretty uncomplicated, so it only took me about 30 minutes to complete both my Federal and state returns! I have used TurboTax for many years and plan to use it for many more.

Time consuming...but worth it!

I have been using Turbo Tax for 5-6 years now, and have always had a great experience. However, in the year prior to this one, I made a small amount of money, working on the side........so now I own a business, which makes things considerably more complicated, than when I just plugged in my wife and my W-2's. Although it took me 3-4 hours to try and wade through what I was supposed to enter, I still prefer doing it myself, than trusting my return to some big tax preparation company, who just wants to shuffle me in and out.
What's great about it: Covers everything you need to know and more.
What's not so great: Can be overly complex if you have anything but a simple review.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Have used Turbo Tax for years. Tried a different program several years ago, didn't like it at all. Came back to Turbo Tax and won't change again.

Great tax prep software

I've used TurboTax for many, many years now (at least 15). I used to wade through multitudes of forms and spend hours doing my own taxes. Only once have I received a discrepancy notice from IRS over TurboTax-prepared return. And it turned out to be my error in entering a deduction twice. Would HIGHLY recommend this software to even the most novice preparer.
What's great about it: Guided step-by-step preparation questions
What's not so great: Occasionally a little confusing at first
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
