I have been using Turbo Tax for over forty years and it is real easy to use ,Thanks for the easy steps . I also had a couple of friends use it for the first time and they said they would do it the TurboTax way from now on .
What's great about it: It's easy to file

Turbo Tax used to be better

Turbo Tax is basically very good, just that I can not seem to easily re-insert a different figure and come out with a new final easily anymore?
What's great about it: does all math
What's not so great: cannot reinsert figuers and recalculate easily.

Since using Turbo Tax, my first time and last its been a nightmare! My federal and state's tax returns have been rejected. I received a error code R0000-500-01. Checked with Social Security the information entered is correct. Your solution is to only mail my return which now take 4 to 6 weeks. I paid for a state E-file and there know where in your help section for a refund. I need to be contacted my phone directly.
What's not so great: Received error code R0000-01 return rejection NEVER had this to happen to me before uising this product!!!

Frustrating end

So I'm been using Turbo Tax for nearly 10 years, and the product has matured nicely. The privacy controls have gotten much better (along with the ability to encrypt my files).
I was even happy to see the back button took me to the last screen I was on...instead of to the section heading. (Makes sense.)
Imagine my disappointment when I tried to send my Federal taxes electronically (from my Tubo Tax '14 on my Mac), and was hit with a "Get Validation" error. This stopped me from processing my taxes, despite multiple attempts to bypass the error. What's worse, this was a known bug that Intuit should've fixed in their many product fixes.

What's great about it: The "back arrow" finally work well

Despite updating the software each time, Turbo Tax would not e-file. Software was unable to identify the problem
Thought we had e-filed on 3.31.2014. But no refund. When looked into it on 5.1.2014, software said had not e=filed. Tried 2 more times, got frustrated, printed it out and filed six weeks late by mail, instead of six weeks early by e-file.
Not too happy here
What's great about it: Easy to enter
What's not so great: E-file would not work

Have filed with Turbo Tax for many years 12+ and have been very pleased with the results. Thanks!
What's great about it: Continued easy flow of the tax return process.
What's not so great: State filing fee.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I thought everything had gone great. This is not the first year using Turbo Tax. I've been wondering where my refund was - so I relaunched Turbo Tax to my horror saw that it was not submitted. I had done ( what I thought )was everything including paying state taxes. From what I read feder is cool since I am getting a refund. Not sure what is going to happen with state.

Otherwise than the above, Everything else went perfect. I have tried other programs last year & the year before and none compare to Turbo Tax. Before that, I did it by hand.

What's great about it: The Help box answered lots of great questions
What's not so great: Had to remove the 1098T form in order to correct an expense because the system would not go back to that question
