Have used TurboTax for many (over 10).
Have always been impressed by the ease of use and fast updates when required.

Overseas Taxes

I really like TurboTax and have found that some CPA will avoid the work of including deductions. I have heard oh no you can't write that off only later to do research and find out that I can. Also, not too many CPAs understand a 673 form or a 330 exemption, but TurboTax does. But wait there is more!....you have to find out for yourself .
What's great about it: Like that I can get my 330 day exemption
What's not so great: Since I own a home in the USA I still have to file a state tax return
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

IMPAIRED VISION

I WAS A PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNTANT AND HAVE USED TURBOTAX FOR MANY YEARS.
WOULD LIKE TO SEE AN OPTION FOR 1040EZ FILERS. LOTS OF ENTRIES JUST TO GET A PRINTED RETURN.
What's great about it: GREAT COVERAGE OF TOPICS FOR THOSE WHO NEED THEM.
What's not so great: LIGHT BLUE TEXT IS DIFFICULT FOR USERS WITH IMPAIRED VISION.

I will use Turbo Tax again next year.
What's great about it: All in all I liked the program. I definitely like "It's Deductable"
What's not so great: It seemed to be more dificult to jump around and find items in forms and then return to the normal process.

I'm so happy right now I could bust !! I've been missing out on some substantial education tuition credits over the past 3 years due to bad information from another tax prep source. Turbo Tax just set me straight and put me well into the refund arena. Thank You !!!
What's great about it: Turbo Tax just walked me through the correction of an education credit mistake that I've been making for 3 years. :)

Turbo Tax Gets Greater Each Year!

I've used Turbo Tax since 1994, 19 years. I found it just as accurate as was my tax accountant, and the cost was a lot less than my tax accountant. I've never been audited on any the calculations that Turbo Tax made on my returns. I've had some complicated returns but Turbo Tax got me through with the right questions knowing I was getting the most deductions possible.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Written help could be better.
