Mostly positive experience

There are good things to say about TT but I was frustrated that TT imported a differnent $ amount of refund than what was on my last years return. The program says the amount likely won't be the same but then it asks me if the amount is correct without giving any idea why their calculation is different and where the difference came from. The state (SC) part of the program leaves a lot to be desired. Perhaps this is the fault of SC Dept of Revenu but there are several parts of the state interview which are unclear and unnecessarily complicated for the average joe to easily figure out.
What's great about it: TT does give good help & links to additional help & resources
What's not so great: TT imports a different refund $ amount than previous 1040. Specific questions to the community are rarely answered.

I used the app from iTunes but then switched to the laptop version. I could not import all the work I already did. Had to redo it. Couldn't you make them compatible.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: couldn't transfer from turbo tax app

I REALLY LOVE THE TURBO TAX DELUXE 2012 EDITION IT IS VERY INTUITIVE AND HELPFUL! WOW! THE SOFTWARE MADE IT SO EASY TO REPORT MORTGAGE INTEREST, INCOME INTEREST, IRA CONTRIBUTIONS... I REALLY LOVE THIS VERSION. EASIEST FILING EVER!
What's great about it: DETAILED AND EASY TO USE

I've been a happy customer for at least 15 years. This year's experience was easier than ever. I really appreciate the care the developers at Intuit put into their product.

My returns were late because i didn't know they were rejected right away and waited for the email. a quicker alert of a problem (mine was simply my husband's pin) would be helpful when the return is filed and rejected
What's great about it: Easy, can do at home, walked me through each step with clear instructions

Have Used it since before it was Turbo Tax

I no longer remember what it was named before it became Turbo Tax but it has always been easy to use and effective.
It has helped in modifying withholding which without assistance is a maze that cannot be negotiated
I have always had a good experience with using it
What's great about it: It has always been quickest way to do this
What's not so great: Have to buy a new version every year

Easy as pie!

I have always paid to have someone do my taxes for me because I was afraid I wouldn't receive my maximum refund. Turbo tax made it simple and I received more back than I did last year with an accountant! I will definitely use turbo tax from here on out!
What's great about it: Walked me through step by step to ensure I received my maximum refund
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy as Pie!

We have been using Turbo Tax for the last 12 years and have always felt that it was easy and complete. Even when we did have events that required a bit more they made it easy to just answer questions and hey completed what was needed.
What's great about it: Guided and complete. Feel that it's right the first time.
What's not so great: Don't like having to pay extra to electronically send the state return.
