Once More into the Fro

This is about the 14th or 15th year of using Turbo Tax and each year it seems to be a little easier to use and a little more "complete" in its methodology. Both of our daughters also use Turbo Tax to file their returns.
What's great about it: Quick, easy and complete method to file my taxes.
What's not so great: Unable to access my financial institution for necessary information.

I smell MONEY coming my way

I've been using Turbo Tax for at least eight years. Once you use it and become use to the questions you can fly thru it the next time. Great program. I recommend it to everyone. Don't give your money away to tax preparers, keep it in your pocket.
What's great about it: Easy to use, no math involved
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Direct Deposit

For years I have been filing using Direct Deposit to my checking account. You have always sent it to the right account and, I assumed, the account you had on file was for this account so I routinely submitted the account information provided. Having waited beyond the time expected for deposit I checked with my bank: No deposit made. So I re-checked my paperwork and discovered that the account it was being sent to was my HELOC account. I do not know why I would have ever given this account for DD. According to my banker I would have had to give you a copy of a check from this account since there was a routing number associated. The only way you could have gotten this account information would have been through my interest deduction for the HELOC but there wouldn't have been a routing number. I am going to assume that I will be receiving a check instead of DD.

i moved states and it cost extra to file two states and it cost extra to e-file for state

Excellet, Reliable Product

I've used TurboTax to do my taxes (personal & business) for over 10 years and have always been pleased with the simple, yet extremely thorough, tax preparation process.
All four of my children use TurboTax and have since the first started filing their own taxes with their first jobs.
I highly recommend it to anyone regardless of their experience with tax preparation.
What's great about it: Turbotax takes a highly detailed process & simplifies it so doing taxes is no longer such a dredded chore.
What's not so great: NONE!
